Does the Woodfield Community in Vero Beach on the mainland or the barrier island?

The Woodfield Community of Vero Beach is located on the mainland, just north of 26^th Street and just east of 58^th Avenue on the north side of the Indian River Mall.  It is a very convenient location for shopping, and a short drive to the beaches of Vero Beach.

Woodfield is an over age 55 Adult Community, however by law, 20% of the residents can be less than age 55. Woodfield is a gated community of 435 homes where all lawn care is provided by the Homeowners Association, as well as a security system.

Woodfield has a country club style clubhouse with an Activities Director, heated swimming pool and tennis courts. The Woodfield clubhouse has a large gathering room where the talented residents put on music shows and plays and comedy events. The room is perfect for large parties for residents to celebrate holidays like Valentines Day, St. Patricks Day and New Years Eve. Their activities include card games, crafts, sculpture, art, book clubs, movie clubs along with daily movie showings, and fitness center. It is an active community for active adults.
